Announcing The Awakening and The Infinite Weave
Announcing The Awakening and The Infinite Weave
Since late August, some of you have started to notice a pattern.
On August 25, 2025, I shared a Patreon post called “Whispers and Echoes” where I hinted—quietly—at something bigger taking shape behind the scenes. I talked about a song I released back on March 13, 2020, one that slipped into the world without much attention, then refused to stay quiet:
Some songs stay silent. They serve their purpose, and then they rest. Others whisper. They return in fragments, soft echoes that linger at the edges. And then there are songs like this one — songs that refuse to let go.

That post was the spark. From there, the whispers only grew louder.
Today, I’m finally ready to connect the threads.
The Awakening
On December 19, 2025, I’m releasing an EP titled The Awakening — a six-track journey that gathers together everything I’ve been hinting at since Whispers of the Witch (The Haunting) and Remote Isolation (The Silence). However this is only the beginning.
This EP is all about transition:
from stillness to motion,
from isolation to intention,
from distant murmurs to a clear, undeniable calling.

If you’ve felt the pull of Whispers of the Witch or the stillness of Remote Isolation, this is where those pieces start to reveal the bigger picture.
However, The Awakening is only the First Act in a much larger story. All of this stems from a spark that began years ago with the title track from my original album Epica—a piece that refused to stay quiet, kept resurfacing in my mind, and ultimately became the creative heartbeat of what I’m now calling The Infinite Weave: Epica.
What started as an idea to finally give Epica a proper physical release grew into something far more expansive: a new narrative, new music, and a multi-Act journey where The Awakening marks the moment the story truly begins to unfold.
Prologue (The Vision): Where the Story Truly Begins
Before I ever said the words The Infinite Weave: Epica in public, the story began with a single moment of me working to create an Official Video for the previous Epica Title Track, and now fully realized in the following video.
In the video, a lone figure writes by candlelight while something presses in from beyond the veil. Words in an ancient tongue are whispered before any English narration appears. You don’t get explanations—just fragments: dreams, omens, and a presence that feels both luminous and unsettling.
If you haven’t seen it yet, this is the true opening scene of The Infinite Weave: Epica:

Not Just a Re-release of Epica
Some of you may look at the titles and think:
“Is this just a re-release or reworking of Epica?”
The honest answer: yes and no.
It absolutely has roots in my desire to finally bring Epica into the world in physical form. That was the original plan: give this album the vinyl and CD treatment it never had.
But once I started, old ideas resurfaced. New inspiration arrived. The music, the story, and the world around it began to grow into something else—something larger and more interconnected than a straight re-release.
So while The Infinite Weave: Epica carries DNA from Epica, it has become its own unique thing:
a new structure, a new narrative, and new ways the songs speak to each other.
There are more secrets to share over the coming months, and this EP is just the beginning of that reveal.
Also important:
The singles and EPs leading up to release will not necessarily contain every track that appears on the final album, The Infinite Weave: Epica.
Think of them as Acts and windows into the world, while the full album will show the complete tapestry.
Crowdfunding the Vinyl & CD
Many of you have asked if my next album will be available on vinyl and CD.
The short answer is: yes—that’s the goal.
In the near future, I’ll be launching a crowdfunding campaign to help make the physical edition of The Infinite Weave: Epica a reality. This will be the best way to:
Secure your copy of the album on vinyl and/or CD
Support the production, artwork, and manufacturing
Help bring this project into the physical world in the way it deserves
If you’ve enjoyed holding Ambient Highways in your hands, this will be your chance to add another cornerstone piece to your collection.
More details on the campaign will be revealed soon.
A Word to Ambient Highways Listeners
To everyone who has bought Ambient Highways on vinyl or CD:
thank you.
For a long time, I thought Ambient Highways might be my magnum opus—the defining work everything else would orbit around.
I’ve since reconsidered that.
If you’d like to know why, and how this ties into the work I feel I’m meant to make now, I wrote about it here:
👉 Prove Life Wrong: When the Work You’re Meant to Make Finally Calls Your Name

Ambient Highways was a turning point.
The Infinite Weave: Epica is where all of those roads begin to converge.
But wait.... there's more
But it doesn’t actually stop there.
Remember, I said The Infinite Weave.
What you’re hearing now is only one expression of it — a musical path that leads deeper into a much larger world. Over the next few months, more threads will reveal themselves in ways that go beyond a single EP or album. There will be new secrets to uncover, new mysteries to untangle, and new ways to step inside the story rather than just listen to it.
For now, consider The Awakening your invitation. The rest will be revealed in time.
